?

I am afraid I am running out of feet to put in my mouth.

I fear I continue to put my job on the line

I mean, one can hardly communicate or speak with two feet in one’s mouth…might be considered rude, to say the least

Perhaps tis the reason my head has been pounding these last couple of days

Or the reason I am unable to sleep at night

How, pray tell, does one find the balance, or the courage to move on

When all reason for doing so is gone?

You think you know…

Sometimes it’s scary knowing things…

Especially when you know things about other people that they do not know.

Or worse, especially when you know things they don’t want you to know.

Whatever happened to the purity of thought?

Whatever happened to trust?

Does anyone really know the meaning of the word ‘friend’?

Do we realize we have no right to be a friend if you are not willing to play the part?

A true friend gives of themselves, wholly and unconditionally

A true friend doesn’t ask why…somehow they already know.

A true friend isn’t afraid to tell you the truth, even though they know it could hurt you.

However, a true friend will know the truth is not meant to hurt, but to heal.

And sometimes healing hurts…

Why pretend?

Why?

It only takes perception and discernment to tell when you have been taken for a ride.

Angry

I thought I had it all together

I thought I had it all planned out

I don’t understand what went wrong

I’m wondering If I’ve been kidding myself

I do not understand

How do I measure success?

How do I measure failure?

By there standards I have succeeded

By my standards I have failed

I feel lower than the ground I walk on

I no longer want to face the world

Perhaps it’s just a moment that will pass

Perhaps it will not

Whatever the case

Life must go on

They say He holds our lives at the palm of His hands

They say He only wants what’s best for us

They also say we have to go to Him and ask for His help

Why then does His so called help cause so much suffering?

So the diamond has to be ground for it to be all shiny

But the rock that covers it serves a purpose

It protects the shiny valuable diamond on the inside.

Maybe that’s what some people are

The rock that covers the shiny diamond

That eventually gets ground away to nothingness…

Perhaps…

Perhaps…

Birthing Your Dreams

  PDF Print E-mail

And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh. Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.
—Genesis 37:19–20

There never was a question that Joseph had a dream. The question was what would become of it. There is also a dream within you. A dream from God means that God-inspired hope planted on the inside of you as a seed in your heart, made real in your imagination by the Spirit of God. And as with Joseph, when God plants a dream on the inside of you, the promise is often bigger than the person.

One of the greatest gifts you have in your life is the ability to see beyond your present state—to dream. It is all about God’s great purposes and plans He has designed for you. No one can define your dream but you. God gives your dream to you alone.

So what will become of your dream? Will you decline it? Will you develop it? Joseph’s dream didn’t develop overnight. He didn’t know that ultimately he would save his people and nation, but he figured it out. Will you birth it? Will you go through the process? Don’t bypass the process just for progress because you won’t be developed.

Nelson Mandala said you’re playing small. The last thing the world needs is for someone to play small. Pursue the dream God has put in your life. There’s no difference between your “true” self and God’s plan for you. Your true self is made up of your deepest desires and gifts and abilities and dreams and passions. Your true self is what God created in you. It is who God made you to be. Instead of accepting the limits that have been placed on you, including the limits you have placed on yourself, pursue your passion!

Just as Joseph’s brother intended to slay Joseph and end his dream, the enemy wants to destroy your dream because vision is the prophetic voice of God that drives you forward. Dream killers try to immobilize your life and put you in a place of bondage. Dreams come to pass when we step out and challenge life and take on the possibilities that lie before us. So keep on dreaming. You can do it. You can birth it. Whatever you do, don’t stop!

Be confident that God will complete what He has started in you (Philippians 1:6). You don’t need to know everything. You may never know much of anything. But make sure you know that the same God who gave you your dream, who transformed you and made you a new creation, this same God will bring His work to completion.

The real deal…I think not

Wanna be evereything but you…

Wanna criticise everyone…

Wanna judge everyone…

Think you know better….

Be condescending to mask your weaknesses…

Preach water…drink wine…

Flip the switch…

Manipulate…

Claim to be holy…

Claim to be pure…

You think you’re the real deal in His eyes…

You hide behind His word…

You’re so wrong…

And you’ll be so busted…

And you know what…

I KNOW YOU BETTER THAN YOU THINK…

The real deal?

I THINK NOT!

Hope…

One day you’ll move from seeing  what you want to see and hearing what you want to hear and realize that there is a whole lot more than you think you know…if you just pay attention!
